I am interested in the
intersection of evaluation theory, disruptive innovation, and
complexity/complex systems and make use of mixed-method and
multidisciplinary approaches to evaluation.
I am currently working on my PhD at the University of Toronto in the Department of Health Policy, Management and
Evaluation (Faculty of Medicine) with a
specialization in eHealth Innovation and Health
Information Management. My PhD supervisor is
Dr. Alejandro (Alex)
Jadad, My PhD
research is centered around the question of "how should
ehealth innovations be evaluated?".
My current PhD
research involves assessing the appropriateness of using
existing evaluation frameworks. Specifically, I am exploring
whether we should continue to use existing frameworks to
guide evaluations of the use of mobile technologies by
physicians in acute and community based end-of-life care
settings.
